Labatt Hall, named in honor of Elizabeth "Bessie" Labatt, a member of the renowned Labatt family, stands as an integral part of King's University College, contributing to its rich educational and cultural landscape. Designed to accommodate a variety of gatherings, it provides a spacious and adaptable environment, making it an ideal venue for conferences, lectures, and community events. Its location within King's University College ensures a prestigious setting, enhanced by the institution's commitment to academic excellence and community engagement. The Joanne and Peter Kenny Theatre, located within the Darryl J. King Student Life Centre, serves as another dynamic gathering space on campus. This 490-seat auditorium is designed to host a variety of events, from academic lectures to cultural performances. Named in recognition of a generous donation from Joanne and Peter Kenny, the theatre provides a welcoming and well-equipped venue for attendees. The King Centre, as it’s commonly known, is a multi-purpose student hub featuring classrooms, lounge areas, a café, and a fitness centre. With its LEED Silver certification, the building incorporates sustainable features such as a green roof, rainwater cistern, and energy-efficient design, making it an environmentally conscious venue for events.
